November 2010: Budding Bakers at the Kitchen!

IMG_1161November was a busy month, with lots of classes and events both in and outside of the kitchen.  One of our favorites was our Parent-Child Breakfast Breads IMG_1177Workshop, where we enjoyed introducing lots of budding young bakers to the joys of proofing yeasts, kneading and shaping breads, and of course, enjoying the results!

October 2010: Canning at the KitchenAndy-Claudine

With the end of tomato season approaching, we took a day to "put up" lots of beautiful and delicious tomatos for kitchen (and home!) use.  Our choices included early girls, marzanos, marvels, from one of our favorite local Noe Valley Farmer's Market farms, Happy Boys.   Luckily, we had lots of little helpers who pitched in, by the end of the day we'd finished over 70 quarts!Claudine w-helpers Canning - helpers2

September 2010:  Claudina's Kitchen at the Noe Valley Farmer's Market

Photos compliments of our favorite farmers at Twin Girls Farm, Carol & Jim. It was a treat to be out there connecting with our neighborhood and at the same time supporting our local farmers -- more than a few folks tasted our samples and took our recipe cards straight back into the market to include on their shopping lists that day!0910 CK Farmer's Market2

August 2010: Claudina's Kitchen is moving and expanding!!IMG_0804

Stay tuned for further news of our move to a new and fabulous cooking studio in the Noe/ Mission area.  This will allow for expanded options for catering events, as well as more space for classes and cooking parties.  We'll look forward to cooking for (and with you!) in our new location soon!
